Bookkeeping is the first part of the accounting process and is responsible for the recording of financial transactions whereas accounting is responsible for interpreting, classifying, analysing, reporting and summarising the financial data. In essence your Accountant will analyse the information provided by a Bookkeeper to forecast future needs and present the bigger financial picture.
